Wise County EMS is currently accepting applications for part-time EMT-B, EMT-I, and EMT-P positions. Written tests will take place on January 11th and 12th beginning promptly at 0900. To test on one of these two dates you must have an application submitted by January 9th, 2017 by 1700. This is an open test and no offer of employment will be made by Wise County EMS at this time. Test and applications will be reviewed and potential candidates will be contacted to complete the remainder of the hire process. To prepare for the written exam, it is recommended that applicants be familiar with National Registry testing material as well as BLS and BTLS for EMT-Basics, and PALS and ACLS for EMT-Intermediates and Paramedics. Applicants need only bring a #2 pencil for testing. Wise County EMS appreciates your interest in employment.
